Good Evening Troop!
We will meet at the church at 6 PM tomorrow (Friday) night to load coolers, gear, etc, and head out.
We are camping at Rusk State Railroad Park – 535 Park Rd 76, Rusk, TX 75785
There is a great pond for fishing! Bring your fishing gear if you have it. There is also a hiking trail for those who need to hike as part of a Merit Badge or Rank requirements.
Tents – As we’ve done the last few campouts, Scouts may choose to bring their own tents (the Troop does have tents for use as well). We are expecting rain during the campout. If your scout’s tent does not have a fly that provides enough coverage, an additional tarp might be a very appreciated addition.
Weather – BRING RAINGEAR!
We plan on returning Sunday at 2 PM.
