Good Afternoon, Troop!
As mentioned in the past few meetings, tomorrow Pack 359 is hosting the District-Wide Bike Rodeo at Green Acres Parking Garage 8am-12pm. This event is going to be a lot of fun. There area stations for the Cub Scouts, Multiple City of Tyler departments that will be there to show off their vehicles and speak to the kids. The Tyler PD Bike Unit will be there and will do a demo. We have food truck, snow cones and TXDOT is donating a free bicycle helmet, front and rear bike light, light-up wrist band and reflective backpack to all the kids. This event is open to all scouts, their families and any friends they would like to invite as well. Its a great opportunity to recruit new scouts if you know of a family with young kids.
I know a few of our scouts are already planning to come out and help with stations. Class B uniforms are perfectly acceptable. We’d love to see a strong supporting presence from Troop 359.
